(GT) Explorers find a cache of Mayan artifacts hidden deep within a cave on the island of Cozumel, which has one of the largest coral reefs in the world, in Mexico.

Mexico was the greatest place in the world because (Alta) California used to be Mexico before it was annexed by European invaders claiming a new empire still making war all over the world, leaving only (Baja) California to Mexico today.

But there are pyramids (the world's largest in Cholula, Mexico, called Tlachihualtepetl or "Man-made Mountain") gold in abundance, and chocolate (Theobroma cacao, the seed pod from the fruit tree the Maya and Aztecs used to make cocoa).

As part of ancient Mesoamerica, the bridge between North ans South America, it was also where Afghan and Chinese Buddhist missionaries (see Inglorious Columbus by Edward P. Vining and How the Swans Came to the Lake by Rick Fields) first landed many centuries ago before Christian colonizers, rapists, slavers, ethnic cleansers, and genocidal maniacs like indebted European Conquistadors Columbus, Cortex, and Pizaro brought Holy Roman Catholicism to the innocent Native Americans and First Nations people of the Americas.
